Youth Resilience and Empowerment Program
Delivered by Power Community Ltd, the community development arm of the Port Adelaide Football Club, the Youth Resilience and Empowerment Program is implementing a range of programs designed to improve education and employment outcomes for young people in the northern suburbs.
In 2016, these programs are seeking to:
- engage with 250 students aged 14-16 years in ten schools in Adelaide’s northern suburbs
- deliver resilience training to 750 students aged 9-12 years in ten schools in the same region.
Young people participating in the Youth Resilience and Empowerment Program program will also be guaranteed work opportunities once they have completed Year 12.
