Disability Employment Hub

Project name

Disability Employment Hub

Industry sector

Health, ageing and disability

This project will establish a new Disability Employment Hub to train former automotive workers, upskill existing workers and encourage university students to work in the disability sector.

Once the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is fully implemented in 2018, it is expected to create around 6300 jobs. Over 1700 of these will be in northern Adelaide.

This initiative will help provide accredited training for workers, making sure workers and businesses are ready for the full implementation of the scheme.
